Georgia and Chelsea will each be getting a new poncho tonight for their American Girl dolls. What do you think? I was originally going to make a single crochet chain loop for a decorative button to add a little something special to the poncho. When I discovered that my "Bucket of Buttons" is still at the old house, I decided to make a quick single crochet chain tie.
Here's the pattern if you'd like to try this simple pattern yourself. It's very easy. Download Simple Poncho for the American Girl Doll

I love it! A few teachers from my public elementary school are making an Am. Girl wardrobe for a fundraiser at our school. Last year we raised $200. This pattern will be a great addition to this year's project. Do you have anymore patterns for 18" doll that you would be willing to share? Thanks!

"Thank you." a thousand times, thank you. I've found so many things on your site to knit! I'm just getting started and I can't go fast enough.

Tres cute! But now you'll have to make ponchos for the girls to match their dolls (if you haven't already!),... ;)
