Look what happens when I decide to dedicate myself to one project and am determined to make progress.
I managed to knit 1.5 inches. Isn't that amazing? I know. You're probably thinking this was the result of sitting down for 45 minutes each day. Wrong! Yesterday I devoted over 4.5 HOURS of time to this much little knitting. Sigh. There were three rows in this 1.5 inches of fair isle that had three colors. It takes me nearly an hour to complete one round with the three colors. Ugh! But I'm very pleased with how neat and even it looks. I took Kathy's lead and switched to catching every float (or every other float). I'm really pleased with the outcome.
As a result of all these hours of dedicated and determined knitting, I did a number on my body, so today I went to my massage therapist. She did wonders on my aches and pains. I did all my stretches and sat up straight and yet I am still unable to do any knitting today. Go figure. That's the price for being so dedicated and determined.
Tomorrow I'm thinking of spending 1.5 hours on BF Blanket in the bulky yarn. I would be surprised if that would yield six inches of knitting. That would be poetic justice!

Amazing :) You need some instant gratification projects to work on in between sessions with your jacket....don't get discouraged you are doing great. Slow and steady wins the race :)

Your sweater is progressing nicely...wonder if Alleve would help enough for you to knit onward?

It looks gorgeous! It may be taking you a long time, but the end result will surely be worth it.

Knitting Fair Isle isn't a fast proposition but you've made good progress. FI knitting is all about the process and your stitches look beautiful and even. ENJOY!

Beautiful and now that you have done so much make a pillow or tote bag front and move on to another thing. I hate a projest that takes so long and produces so little. I knit all the time and really enjoy reading your blog. Enjoy your day and stay healthy!
