I love homemade chili and it sure heats up well as leftovers, which is the best part :)

Yes, I would not be without a pressure cooker or a crock pot( not speedy though). Both are lifesavers.

That is so funny. Yes, I know beans have to soak away a good long time even after cooking them. Hehehe. Live and learn

Did you see that Karen of Musings just finished the sweater you want to begin. It came out lovely. Musings of a mostly self taught knitter that is.

I have two words for you: pressure cooker.
I wouldn't be without mine, though my spouse seems to have packed it into a box somewhere during the kitchen remodel project. It makes bean cooking a snap.

Yummmy!! My kids LOVE chili!! I am always looking for new recipes, or ways to stretch leftovers... my kids love real food (as opposed to 'cooking from a box') so as our lives get busier, I am always trying to make dinner ahead of time that will satisfy all of us.
Though some days I beg them to have a BP&J sandwich for lunch... LOL and other days I wish we could just not eat... I feel like all I do is buy food, prepare food, eat food then clean up after eating the food. LOL
Not complaining though.... Love my kids!

We really like the Food Should Taste Good multigrain chips with chili. That combo is on our menu for the week.
