Remember my packing list for the hospital? More knitting than clothes and more books than toiletries? Well I'm not sure what I was thinking. Except for the car ride down to Virginia, I barely got any knitting done while the boys were in the hospital. I did bring some Trekking XXL yarn (not on the aforementioned packing list) and with a US Size 1 Turbo Addi, cast on 72 sts for some K3, P3 Garter Stitch Rib socks for Primogeniture. In the end, even this pattern was too much for my brain housing group, so I set it aside.
I like the way it's turning out, but I've never knit a Man's Sock with 72 sts. Usually I knit on US Size 2 with 60 sts, but I know that for Trekking, Lorna's Laces and other fine sock yarn, I need to go down to a size 1 needle otherwise I'll be knitting a child's size sock. I think it will be fine.
I think this neutral color will be a good match for this son o' mine. It will also camouflage the Wilma hairs nicely.

I really like the color of the grey socks. Hope the boys are doing well.

Very important to think of camoflaging dog hairs. I'm going to make a copper colored something sometime just for that.
