I've got a big Scouting event that I've been preparing for diligently for nearly 8-9 months. One of the things I need to do is come up with 10-12 placemats for my Bear Patrol. You know me. Why do something simple when I can do something complicated? I proudly present to you my Bear Patrol quilted placemats.
The best part is that this placemat is two-fold. I'm supposed to have placemats and also some sort of bear related gift to give the participants. Voila! This will serve both purposes!
These took longer than I anticipated, and actually turned out better than I hoped. Don't look too closely. They won't win any blue ribbons at the Iowa State Fair... but I think they'll be a big hit at the Wood Badge course. Don't you wish you were part of my Bear Patrol?

Yes, I do...those are wonderful...Good Job!!

Jennifer,
You should be so proud...they look great. You are sewing as much as me...I have 70 football team towels to finish by Sunday. I have about 35 more to go!

I DO wish I were part of your bear patrol...perhaps it would get me out of town for a while:) You did a fine job on the placemats. Meanwhile, I'm taking a page from your book and trying to finish up a few projects around here. Wish me luck!
