These little Christine's Stay-On Booties are so quick to knit, but even I get caught with just one bootie done in a day. Life sometimes gets in the way.
It's also not that attractive when it's a work in progress. See how it's limp and lists to one side? Hmmmm. Not my best work in the staging department. But I show it for a reason. Before I photograph or wrap baby booties as a gift, I take some paper and roll it up into a tube and stuff it inside the bootie to make it a bit stiffer and allow it to stand up straight. The next time you see this bootie, it will definitely be standing at attention!
Carry on.

As my DH would say (who was in the Navy for over 15 years), "Yes, ma'am! Aye, aye, ma'am!" LOL
The problem is that I am rather inexperienced and I just don't understand the instructions of the pattern. I've looked at them before in the hopes of making booties, but since I don't understand what Christine is saying to do, I have just avoided this pattern.
Do you have any suggestions for a simpler pattern that would possibly stay on little feet? Thanks for your help.
