My niece and nephews weren't the only children who learned how to knit these past few weeks. My friend Margeaux brought her three lovely daughters over for a morning of knitting chickens bringing the total of children who learned to knit in the past two weeks to six!
I helped each of them knit a chicken. Here's E - glueing on the googly eyes.
Here are A, E and I posing with their chickens. A is only four a a little tired from a whole morning of knitting.
E and I did a fantastic job knitting. It was such fun.
A decided she was done with knitting and sent her little chicken flying.
A went into the Knit Nook and chose to read a book to Curious George. She may have had the right idea.
Here's a picture from Mom on Easter Sunday with baskets and chickens.
Here are three happy girls who now know how to knit chickens. Someday maybe they'll teach someone to knit, too. Wouldn't that be grand?

You ROCK!
