Thanks everyone for the great birthday wishes. This is a semi-big one. I'm feeling pretty good about it. But rather than celebrate my birthday in a manner commensurate with my new-found maturity, I had a celebration in Iowa this past week with my sister and niece and nephews at none other than Chuck E Cheese.
Did you know that Chuck E can knit?
I felt like a munchkin at this venerable kid-friendly venue. I think C,P&G want to spend my birthday with me every year! I may have over-indulged them with tokens.
The sorted them out very fairly. It didn't take them that long to spend their tokens, but it gave Ellen and me some quiet time for an adult lunch (we had the salad bar) while they were living the life at the arcade.
Could it get any better than this?

Happy Birthday!
