Oh these guys are so adorable!!!! It's not my shoulders that bother me if I knit too long, it's my hands. I put the knitting down and stretch my hands out. And then give them a rest. Shake them out a bit. Then pick up the needles the next day. It's usually late at night when my hands hurt like that.

I like your idea of doing some yoga. Any kind of stretching is a good idea.

They are soooooo cute! I think you ought to let them visit with the little chicks too!

When my knitting muscles rebel I take an ibuprofen and keep on knitting. Now when my ugly arthritis rebels, I am forced to stop until the pain subsides...usually a day or so does the trick. Muscles can be rested and retrained...joints just fall apart. Hope your rest is fruitful!
