Six years ago, Bethany stayed with us when she came to New York, fresh out of college, to do an internship with the Conan O'Brien Show (when he was based in New York). She stayed with us for that time. This weekend she came out again to visit. We could scarcely believe it had been six years ago. I guess the photos don't lie.
Here's a picture of Angel showing Secundogeniture and Bethany how to make balloon animals. It's the only photo I could find of the two of them together from six years ago. My little guy was only 6 1/2 years old.
Here's a gratuitous picture of Secundogeniture with his completed balloon ensemble (because it's so darned cute and I miss these days!)
Fast forward to March 2012 and Secundogeniture is now a foot taller than Bethany.
Awwww. How did this happen? Look what Bethany is wearing on her feet!
It's the first chance I've seen her since I finished her very own pair of handknit socks. These are the Cubes and Cables socks designed by Ann McClure. They're got some really interesting design elements - including Charlene Schurch's Cuban Heel.
It was great to see you Bethany and hear all about your great adventures in comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Chris Gethard Show, your new pilot, and 30 Rock! Rock on!
I love Bethany's hand knit socks.......wonderful colors and texture. Very fun to see you son growing up!
