Here's our Boy Scout Summit Bechtel Reserve subcamp at the BSA National Jamboree Shakedown before all the Scouts arrived.
See, it's basically an empty field with lots and lots of clusters of showerhouses. Those few orange tents in the upper left hand corner are our staff tents. We need to be housed in the subcamp to take care of any emergencies around the clock. The rest of the staff will be housed in their very own subcamp. Can't you just smell the fresh air?
Here's another shot from nearly the same vantage point - with about 2,000 Scouts and staff members.
Here's a close up of the lines and lines of orange dome tents. Beautiful, right? We had two cots in each tent with our personal gear stored under the cots. It worked really well and compared to my backpacking tent - it felt like a castle!
Home Sweet Home.

Okay, how in the world does the scout know which tent is his? Or does it not matter and you sleep in any one??
