BF and I share the driving on our road trips. Of course, I love it when he drives because it means I have several hours of uninterrupted knitting. I brought the Sampler Blanket as my serious project and managed to knit six more swatches, or one more strip.
The first is the Cable and Eyelet Rib.
Chequerboard is next in the line up.
The Layette Stitch was the third and final swatch I managed to finish on the road trip down to DC.
The fourth swatch was done in the Diamond Brocade which is a favorite of mine as I've knit a sweater for Primogeniture and BF in this pattern.
The ride home consisted of knitting Chichester the Pig VI and the fifth swatch in Staggered Eyelet.
The final swatch of the trip was the Double Fleck Stitch. Upon binding off this strip, I declared to BF that I was now ready to take my turn at driving.
I love a productive car ride. How about you?
P.S. I love these pictures. The sun cooperated and I got a true reflection of the yarn's actual color. The first strip was too sunny and it made the green appear too washed out.

My ever productive friends....good job! great textures
