Guess what? I'm veering off in a new direction. I'm not just making owls anymore. I'm making SCREECH OWLS!
Whoa. That's a big change. OK. The only real change is I added tufts on the ears.
Here is Ozzie the mini Christmas Screech Owl Ornament and Ozzie the Screech Owl. You can read more about them on my ravelry page.
I'd like to be able to honestly confess that I really am done with the owls, but even as I post this, I have a micro screech owl on the needles using some Knit Picks Palette and US size 2 and 0 needles.
PS - the Santa hat was a big hit in my household.

why stop when you are loving it and the OWLS are so darn cute. .....
Make them for neices and nephews and the like. WHo who who cooks for you, when you knit?
(one of the owls says WHO WHO WHO COOKS FOR YOU in the bird books ...on calls...

Believe it or not, these two are even cuter than the last. I think an owl addiction is just fine:)

The owls are great... love the tufts! (A good gift for someone who needs to screech?)

While I love the owls and think they are absolutely adorable......personally I think you should work on your bobwhites......but that's just my opinion. :-)
