You were very busy!

I made items for one of my brothers and his family. Next year I'll knit for another brother. I made two helmet liners (for hunting), a beret, fingerless mitts and a scarf/ear warmer combo. I was with them this year and it was great to see everyone open their knitted items.

I knit gifts all year long....already started for next year!!! I made felted slippers, 2 pair of knee high socks, too many to count stocking hats (for gifts and charity).

Ilove what I am assuming is a freudian slip...when you said your step-MIL "chicken is decorated in chickens"!!!!
Cashmere socks - wow - those sound yummy!
The blanket is beautiful!!!

NO Christmas knitting for me this year, but I have started for NEXT year already.

This past year was a tough on for me medically and I just couldn't get organized for this Christmas. It was WAY laid back. But, we had a wonderful time.

Next year ... I vow to have a big blow out at least knitting wise!

OH i love that blanket and your cowl!!!!

I knit socks during the year to give this Christmas. I also knit those 3 leftover hats and the men in our house choose from among them this morning as we exchanged gifts.

I knit a shawl for my friend Helen and gave it to her for Christmas and she loves it.
