Last year I made the All American with Baseball Cap Santa... but didn't back him or add the gold ribbon for hanging on the tree. So this year he's going on the tree with some other Santas in the same boat.
Meanwhile, I got it into my head to try to create a New York Mets Santa for BF. I took the pattern for the aforementioned Santa and played around a bit with it.
I'm pretty happy with the way he turned out. Only one problem. I used half stitches to make the flourishes on the tips of the N and Y... only to realize midway that it's not really possible to do half stitches on hard plastic canvas. I managed somehow.
