It seems to be so, at least in my world.
I picked out the next 25 swatches to make another child's blanket. This blanket might need a little more pizzazz to endear it to a little boy, so I've got some ideas rattling around in my head. Stay tuned to see what comes of it.

how about you do the edging and join the panels in one of the pretty greens you have used? then, if there are any stockinette squares, you can duplicate stitch his initials or date with one of the blues you used? i think that would definitely make it lean more towards boy. enjoy!

It spilled over to my world. I have a ton of malabrigo that I've been collecting over the years to make a couch throw. Sure you can't wash and dry it but it sure it soft. I started the first block the other night. I hope by the end of 2013 I have it completed!

Looks perfect for a boy. Boys LOVE stripes and I see some in there.

Hello, Jennifer....I just found your blog through another bloggers list of favorites. Love your blog! I will definitely be a follower.
Great idea...year of the blanket. Mine will be year of the sweater, as I have a few in mind, especially working on stranded colorwork. And then there are quilts, which I'll save for another time. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi". Wishing you a great week.
