I'm with Patt, I don't even know that this means. All I know is that I would hate losing touch with you (and Wilma, the boys and BF) and I don't do facebook and Twitter seems too short and cryptic.......good luck with the switch and I hope to find you where you land next.

IM LOST. I just bookmark all my blogs and click down the list to see who has posted. Im missing something I think.....

I've been using feedly and haven't been thrilled. I'm hoping to be able to read on my tablet instead; there are some apps that are starting to step up.

Tamara

I've used FeeddlerPro on my iPad for about two years and really like it. I tried out the free app first and quickly upgraded to the paid version, which was $4.99. On my Mac Book Pro, I did use Google Reader, but have switched to BlogLovin'. I haven't used it enough to know if I like it, because I much prefer reading blogs on an iPad.

Patt

I don't even understand what this means!! You are just in my favorites and I click on you. Does thsi mean I won't be able to anymore? I am so social network illiterate

Dee

Feedly is available for Firefox as well as Chrome.

I tried Bloglovin', but really didn't care for it. I'm now using Feedly on Chrome, Firefox and my Android phone.

On Firefox, Feedly is an add-on extension that you have to download.

Old Reader wouldn't work for me at all. But, I must admit, I tried it the day Google announced its plan. So, it might have just been really swamped.

I've been trying to get used to Feedly -- which I like because it syncs across PC/Android/Kindle, but only works in Chrome on the PC which is a snafu some of the time. I'm working on it.

Bloglovin'... yay and nay.

There's one called OldReader but it took days to import my feeds (it was a very busy time!) and I haven't had time to really check it out.

RC

I'm using Feedly. I had another suggestion of Blog Lovin but I really hated the format of it. Feedly is good for online but I don't love it on my ipad. Hopefully they will improve the ipad version as GR comes to a close.

Carole told me about Old Reader. It's very similar to Google Reader, a little slow but the import from Google was easy and everything in its place. I'm sticking with it over any of the others I've tried.

Tracy

Give Feedly a try. It works with Reader (for now) so there is little setup and the layout is neat and clean.

Pam

Try "The Old Reader"....I tried Feedly, but like The Old Reader much better...closer to Google Reader.

P.S. Love the pics of Wilma!

I'm in the same boat. It sucked when I lost the last RSS server and now this. Sigh. I'll be watching to see if anyone else has any ideas.

Karen

I'm unhappy about this too. I've been trying Brief which is an add-on for Firefox. It is slow and unreliable. I have to keep a tab open with it all the time to get the feeds. Sigh.
I'll be keeping an eye on your comments to see what others have to say.
