This year I joined the Women Marines Association. Yesterday was my second meeting. We have a small chapter, but size doesn't matter. The camaraderie, stories and history these ladies possess is worth more than gold.
These ladies served in the Marine Corps in the 1940s (yes, that's correct!) 60s and 70s then there's me who served in the 90s and 00s.
I'm trying to reach out to new members. If you are interested in learning more - please contact me and I'll put you in touch with the right people. If you're in Connecticut, I'm especially interested to know you as I'd like to increase our membership in our local chapter.
Semper fidelis ladies. I am proud to call you sisters.
