It's been three weeks since Wilma died and life moves on. I miss my girly girl every day, but am so grateful I have two puppies to help ease the pain. The funny thing is how the dogs are acting differently without Wilma to offer her discipline. Duke is a little more outrageous. When he gets spunky, he runs around and jumps on the furniture (which is NOT allowed) and makes way too much noise. That only lasts a few minutes before both pups are wiped out and they return to their normal bulldog positions:
What? I was here all the time. It must have been Otis. He started it.
What? I didn't do anything. I've been here all day. I'm the calm one, remember?
After a short spurt of rambunctiousness, both pups generally end up sharing one pouffe and sleep for about 95% of the day. It's not a bad life if you can get it.
