Size 13 needles
First, measure the collar and cuffs of your jean jacket. Both are generally rectangles. Then make a swatch and figure gauge to fit your collar and cuffs.
This is a size 4-5 jean jacket from Gap.
COLLAR = 17 x 2 3/4 inches
Cast on 50 stitches and knit until piece measures 2 3/4 inches tall. Bind off.
CUFF (x2) = 10 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches
Cast on 30 stitches and knit until piece measures 1 1/2 inches tall. Bind off. Make another exactly the same.
Tuck in ends of the yarn. With a needle and thread, sew collar and cuffs onto jean jacket.
