After a fabulous eight days in Brazil, it was time to come home. The trip from Brasília to São Paulo and then from São Paulo to New York took approximately 19 hours door-to-door with layovers and long flights. We watched movies (J.Edger Hoover, Meu País, Up) and some TV shows, too (How I Met Your Mother and The Addams Family) while passing the time. I did little knitting on this trip, but I did bring some Christmas ornament knitting with me.
I managed to make some snowmen bodies. They didn't get the same extravagant travel treatment as the pigs did earlier this year. I think the snowmen feel a little cheated. OK, scratch that. They feel a lot cheated. Maybe next time they'll get the royal treatment. But for now, I'm still happy with the knitting accomplished.
I'm happy, because the lack of knitting tells you how much fun I had. I had ZERO time for knitting. I think that's a good thing, don't you?
You can sometimes measure the FUN by how little knitting got done. NO wonder those Snowmen didnt finish...they would have melted immediately down there.....:)
